Below are some answers to frequently asked questions. If you can’t find the answer to your question, please feel free to contact us!

Can I make an appointment for both delivery and assembly?

Yes! Here’s how it works:

  • Pick out your desired item and complete your purchase.
  • Schedule an appointment. You’ll have the option to indicate that you need both delivery and assembly.
  • On the day scheduled, the technician will go to the store to pick up your product, and call you 30 minutes before arrival at your home.
  • When the technician arrives, they will assess the area, complete the assembly, and verify assembly has been completed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • The technician will break down packaging and place it in a location of your choice.
  • The technician will collect your signature once work is completed.

Note: Additional fees will be applied if the technician has to go up and down stairs.

Can I make an appointment for assembly only?

  • Before your appointment, please place your item in the desired location. Additional fees will be applied if the technician has to move an item to another location.
  • On the day scheduled, the technician will call you 30 minutes before arrival at your home.
  • When the technician arrives, they will assess the area, complete the assembly, and verify assembly has been completed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • The technician will break down packaging and place it in a location of your choice.
  • The technician will collect your signature once work is completed.

How can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

How do I know when my technician will arrive?

Our technician will call you 30 minutes prior to arrival to notify you that they’re on their way.

Will the technician haul away the trash?

Our technician will break down all boxes and put them in an on-site receptacle of your choice.

How long is my labor warranty?

We offer a labor warranty of 30 days.

What can you assemble?

We can assemble all things that state “requires assembly.”

We are unable to assemble or install:

  • Above-ground pools
  • Basketball hoops that attach directly to a house, or any other product that is attached to the house

Will you connect a gas line or propane tank to my new grill?

No, unfortunately we are unable to connect gas lines or propane tanks.

What kind of basketball hoops do you assemble/install?

In-grounds and portables. We cannot attach basketball hoops to your house.

How soon can you assemble my order?

Within five days.

Are your technicians background checked?

Yes.

Do your technicians follow CDC guidelines for COVID-19?

Yes, our techs wear masks and do not require you to touch anything to sign.

Do I need to make additional preparations for in-ground basketball hoop assembly/installation?

Yes. In-ground basketball hoop assembly is a 2-phase process that requires additional preparation. Phase 1 is installing the base in concrete (which must cure for 72 hours) and Phase 2 is the assembly and standing of the goal.

Basketball Goals:
Portable Basketball Goals require water, sand, or gel in base. Hybrid Basketball Goals require sand and water in base.
In-ground Goals (No additional info required)

811 (DigSafe) clearance is required for all in-ground installations. If you have an active 811 ticket that has been cleared, we will need the ticket number. If you would like us to submit an 811 for you, our office will reach out to you to collect the required information to submit an 811 request.

After 811 is cleared, Assemblers, Inc. will reach out within 24 hours to collect payment and dates of availability. Within 48 hours of clearance, you will be provided with scheduled dates for Phase 1 and 2.

On the Phase 1 date, the technician will secure the base in concrete. To ensure that the cement cures properly, weather conditions on this date should be sufficiently dry and above 50°F.

The technician will return on the Phase 2 date to set up the pole, backboard, and goal per the manufacturer’s specifications.

Note: Check with your HOA before making modifications to your site.

Do I need to make additional preparations for outdoor playset assembly/installation?

Yes. Our technicians require a level space to assemble and install playsets. Assemblers, Inc. does not prepare the area, so please ensure that the area is clear and level before the technician arrives.

Do I need to make additional preparations for Furniture and/or Exercise equipment assembly/installation?

Please be advised that prior to arrival, the indoor or outdoor area must be clean and dry for installation/structure to be properly assembled.  Any additions to assembly are charged as an ancillary fee.

Do I need to make additional preparations for Storage Shed assembly/installation?

Customer is responsible for providing a level foundation, verifying property lines, and obtaining any required permits. Storage building installations are performed during optimum weather conditions only. The price will reflect labor only; Product and supplies are not included.
